“WILD CARD: Espers of Eden” is officially coming this Fall, with an official release date probably coming in a few weeks. It has been a passion project picked up, put away for months at a time, picked back up, then put away once more. It’s been a long road to get where we are now.

For those that don’t know, Wild Card began as an original story idea a few years ago that never saw too much attention. Mainly it wasn’t seen as being a project to invest in. However, as time went on and the world continued to be built upon – then torn down – then built up again, it began to take shape. A shape that even today is ever changing. Now after some attention being spent to revise the first volume, we’re close to editing, and then release.

Wild Card will be a web novel series and will, at least at first, be released as a ‘Volume.’ The first of which is entitled Espers of Eden.

Volume one will serve as an introduction to the world and the characters that future chapters/volumes will draw from. This first meeting with the world of Wild Card is meant to set the stage for the stories yet to come.

The biggest reason that Wild Card has seen such delay in the last year involves a few factors – including myself with a full-time job and other responsibilities, as well as my improving writing ability. The original Wild Card Volume 1 was written almost two years ago, but it was trashed and rewritten as my ability had improved by the time I went to revise. The same thing happened summer 2015.

I wasn’t able to touch Wild Card again until a couple months ago when I left my full-time job in order to attempt streaming and found myself with more free time. At that point I wanted to rewrite it again – but I decided to forgo that option. I decided to do one final revision, send it to my editor (the amazing M.K. Alexander whom does this all for free in her spare time), and then to release it as is.

I hope that the story of WILD CARD, in this introduction volume, can enthrall you for the story. I ask that you look past the poor writing styles that seem to mesh in strange ways at times as the older, poorer style clashes with the changing and evolving one.

There is a story to tell with these amazing characters in this lively world and I hope in my heart of hearts that those who give it a chance will find themselves enjoying the journey right along with me.
